About school

International company "RoboCode" works in Ukraine since 2016 and is one of the leaders in the market of educational services for robotics. The number of students in our schools of robotics and programming numbers over 3000 students. We now have 43 schools in three countries. We are engaged in comprehensive training in robotics, programming and design thinking for children aged 8 to 15 years. Our research and development department is actively working on the creation of game, service and training robots, as well as training programs using the latest technology and experience of leading universities in the world. One of the methods of teaching children is to involve them in this activity.
In our training programs, we pursue the following tasks:

  • Create a motivation for kids to engage in technology and accurate science.
  • Teaching programming and robotics.
  • To form children's thinking and skills to create a product.

Our main asset is people. We managed to create a team of excellent teachers who love children, love robots, love programming and science.

IN OUR SCHOOLS WE HAVE CHILDREN TO CREATE PRODUCTS FOR THE NEW WORLD! OUR OBJECTIVE IS A LEADER, WHICH, IN 15-17 YEARS, CREATES AND MONEY OUR OWN PRODUCT!

In RoboCode, we are constantly working to improve the training programs, as the technological world is changing rapidly, so keeping up with it is the main challenge of this century. To create them, we use the online courses of the best universities in the world that are openly accessible, for example, the legendary CS-50 - the Harvard course "Fundamentals of programming." We also emphasize the development of our team, as well as the level of technology should increase the professional level of teachers.

More and more people are aware of the impact and potential of technology in our world and want their children to communicate with these technologies "on you". Therefore, to promote our network of schools, we regularly conduct open educational lessons for children and parents, take part in exhibitions and olympiads in robotics. We also work with schools and universities to keep in touch with a living student environment.

On September 1, 2017, in our city of Irpin, our team (winning an open competition) with the support of the Irpin City Council opened a municipal educational institution Irpinsky Lyceum of Innovative Technologies, ilit.com.ua. This is a unique training center, where for the first time in Ukraine, senior students will undergo serious training in specialties: robotics, mathematics and programming, biotechnology. The RoboCode team teaches teachers, provides its robotics programs and produces training robots, ZD printers, etc. This project is very interesting for us for two reasons:

  • we believe that our children will be able to create products and / or companies that will change this world and we will be proud of the fact that this is done in Ukraine!
  • the work of lyceum, programs, teaching methods and teaching is guided by the legend of British education - Professor of Oxford University Chris Imafidon (excellenceineducation.org.uk), and we implement all of his recommendations in our schools!

THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE "ROBOCODE" TRAINING SYSTEM:

1.

Principle of Pareto. 80% of the lesson is a practice where every student is responsible for his own work and works with his set (laptop and robot).

2.

Clearness. Each student sees the result of his code. From here comes the motivation and understanding of programming. The program does not remain anywhere on the computer, it works, and the robot performs certain actions.

3.

One lesson is one device. At the end of the lesson, each student will have, at first, a simple but working device (for example, a signaling or parktronic, or something else interesting and useful). This creates the motivation to bring the program to the end.

4.

Horizontal accountability. At the end of the lesson, children always see who the device is running, and who else needs to try. This allows you to increase the motivation of each child and his desire for knowledge.

5.

1 to 12. In groups of no more than 12 children, and one teacher makes it possible during the practical part of the lesson (and it is more than an hour) to pay attention to each student and his project (program, scheme).

6.

English. We see the meaning to immediately teach correctly, that is, to give the terminology, and in older groups and the material in English.
